As seen on packaging:
Contains 3 types of hyaluronic acid that deeply penetrates the skin to nourish and help restore skin's barrier to prevent moisture loss
Introducing...
The key ingredients: Hyaluronic Acid, Super Hyaluronic Acid & Nano Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic Acid 1 gm is able to hold 6 litres of water, effectively locks in moisture on skin
Super Hyaluronic Acid with 2x the moisture retention capacity of hyaluronic acid to keep skin hydrated and smooth for a longer period of time
Nano Hyaluronic Acid with molecule size 1/20 of hyaluronic acid, easily penetrates into the skin innermost layer to deeply moisturise the skin
REVIEW:
I still maintain my stand that Hada Labo works wonders for my skin You can read my previous review on the whitening products However, my preference for the milk has changed I now prefer the lotion instead As I find the milk too greasy. For your information, each bottle of milk or lotion costs $22.90
Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion
Instantly hydrates the skin and helps preserve its optimum moisture balance Replenishes and locks in moisture for complete hydration. Skin feels significantly soft and supple Helps improve dry and dehydrated skin, leaving it silky smooth
Function:
This lotion was much more hydrating than the whitening one No wonder its Hada Labo's best seller! My skin has never, ever felt as soft and smooth as now! This product definitely deserves the raves it has recieved by numerous beauty bloggers.
Scent:
Like it's whitening counterparts, this lotion only has a mild chemical smell. This is due to Hada Labo not addding any perfumes in order to keep their products "Perfect x Simple" Just like their motto says!
Packaging:
Likewise, the packaging of this lotion has been very informative. I mean, how else can you know that there are so many types of hyaluronic acid in 1 bottle of Hada labo?!
Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Milk
Moisturises deeply, offering nourishing hydration and skin smoothing conditioners Skin becomes smoother, softer and richly hydrated, giving it a natural, helathy looking glow
Function:
This is also very hydrating. Almost too hydrating, in fact. It initially left my skin very plush and smooth But after subsequent uses, it left my skin oily and even contributed to milia seeds!
Scent:
This product also doesn't have much of a scent
Packaging:
The same signature packaging as the rest of the Hada Labo bottles.

Lovemore Alp's Spring & Phytoncide Moisturising Mask
 Friday, June 3, 2011 | (0) comments |
Using ingredients from Alp's spring with hyaluronic acid and phytoncide, this refreshing mask awakens your skin's moisturising ability and allows your skin to absorb the beneficial effects from the mask easily and becomes moisturised instantly!Rating given on packaging:Whitening Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ Moisturising Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hydrating Rating:★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ Absorption Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fitting to Skin Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ REVIEW:To be honest, I like this mask much better
than the French Provence Lavender one by Lovemore. Each mask contains 25ml of awesome! & this is one of the masks recommended by Xiaxue. (Xiaxue was sponsored the entire range to try out for her advertorial)
Note: Although I mentioned that a box of 5 masks costs $7.90 in the Lovemore Provence Lavender Mask reviewIt turns out that it might an introductory offer by Watsons as it now costs $8.90 per box. Function:This is very very effective. I feel that the moisturising effects are as good as Hada Labo's hydrating range of products which I will review soon However, disappointingly, this mask gave me a breakout on one of the occasions I used it. I'm not sure if it was the streak of hot weather that week or the mask that resulted in the breakout. But nevertheless, I'm still disappointed as I was about to 'fave' this mask. Scent:It has a mild fruity scent. Which I might describe as peach? The mild smell is lovely. As you might know, the strong lavender smell from the Lovemore lavender mask, gave me a headache. Packaging: Like the Lovemore Lavender Mask,
each of the Alp's Spring mask comes individually sealed in an adorable envelope. Overall Rating: Labels: alp's spring, lovemore, mask, moisturising, phytoncide
Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion & Milk
 Thursday, May 12, 2011 | (0) comments |
As seen on packaging:
3 Benefits of Shirojyun Whitening
Deep Moisturising Intensive Repair Double Whitening
Introducing...
The key ingredient: Arbutin
Arbutin is an extract from natural plant bearberry, with natural whitening properties.
REVIEW:
Hada Labo is the first skincare line I've ever purchased. I bought the lotion and milk for both the whitening line and hydrating line I'm alternating between both lines as prolonged use of whitening products could increase sun sensitivity. Each bottle of lotion and milk costs $22.90!
I use about 5 drops of the lotion & 2 drops of milk every night! (Some people use much lesser than I do, so you gotta try it yourself. I gotta big face, kay?)
Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion
Contains Arbutin to help fight dark spots. Smoothes and clarifies to optimise skin's radiance and transclucency Vitamin C helps reduce the appearance of dark spots to give clearer, fairer skin Contains Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate intensely keeping skin soft and supple
Function:
I do feel that my freckles have been significantly lightened. Even the less visible ones have disappeared! My skin tone did not lightened much, but that is not my main concern as I was more worried about the freckles on my face.
However, the product seems to increase my skin's sensitivity to the sun I feel that my skin seems to break out in rashes when I spend prolonged periods of time in the sun.
Scent:
It has a mild chemical smell which I do not mind much. I actually like that it is fragrance free as perfumed products may cause skin sensitivity.
Packaging:
I like the fact that the design of the label is simple and elegant. The information provided on the bottle was also quite informative.
Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Milk
Contains Arbutin to help fight dark spots and re-balance skin tone for visibly fair and radiant skin Enhanced with vitamin C for a more uniform skin tone and renewal of dull skin caused by UV rays. Preserves skin's natural moisture. Smoothes and clarifies to optimise skin's transclucency
Function:
I actually find it quite a pity that the bottle of milk contains less than the bottle of lotion (140ml for milk & 170ml for lotion) I prefer the milk as it really moisturises the skin. As in, I really can feel the difference after application. As such, I can't help but to pinch my smoother & bouncier cheeks. Which unfortunately, results in me having pimples as I doubt my hands are clean.
Scent:
Like the lotion, the milk is also fragrance-free
Packaging:
The milk has the same elegant packaging as the lotion. But do note that the smaller bottle contains the milk whereas the taller bottle contains the lotion.

Lovemore Provence Lavender Nighttime Whitening Mask
 Saturday, April 23, 2011 | (0) comments |
Carefully chosen lavender from the French Provence, this lavender mask relaxes your skin during the night time and maximises your blood circulation. Using different mild botanic ingredients with excellent whitening benefits and sebum control, your skin will be fair and free from oil the next day!
Rating given on packaging:
Whitening Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moisturising Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ Hydrating Rating:★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ Absorption Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fitting to Skin Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ REVIEW:
This is actually the first sheet mask I have ever used. But I really really like it :) I usually use it for 30 minutes instead of 15-20 as instructed on the packaging as the mask is still quite soaked with essence after 20 minutes. I used the mask in the afternoon for the first 2 tries & before bedtime the third. It is not called a night time whitening mask for nothing. The effects ARE better if used at night. I find that the essence is also absorbed better during the night time as well.
At $7.90, there are 5 masks in a box, each mask containing 25ml of goodness!
Function:
While I do not expect to turn into snow white upon using this mask, I do find my skin fairer and my freckles lightened with usage. Also, I find it awesome that the mask actually reduces the swelling of infected pimples. It also leaves my face smoother and softer.
However, with regards to the sebum control function, although it really does help with oil control, I find that I wake up from bed with my face feeling extremely oily. It is only after washing my face that my face remains oil-free for the rest of the day. So maybe it "purges oil" from beneath the epidermis?
Scent:
The mask smells strongly of lavender. Coupled with the texture of the mask, it really does seem like one of those lavender scented wet wipes. The lavender is really relaxing and lures me to sleep. However, smelling the scent for a prolonged time seems to give me a headache.
Packaging:
The packaging is really adorable. Whether it is the box or the individual packaging, it is clear effort has been put in to attract attention.

 Review Criteria!
 Friday, April 8, 2011 | (0) comments |
Hiya, I'll be introducing the criterias for which I rate the products.
1. Function No point using a product which does not serve it's purpose right? Obviously the most important criteria~!
2. Scent I'm sure noone wants something smelly on their face right? Especially if if it's going to be near your nose for ages.
3. Packaging I'm a sucker for pretty packaging. Shoot me.
I don't really care about the fit of the mask. Although some people tend to complain their masks are too big/small, the holes too weird & whatever. I mean, the manufacturers only make it in one size right? It's not as if its custom made or something~
Anyway! I will try each kind of mask 3 times before giving my take on the product. As well as 1 month for prouducts that require daily usage. Fair enough? Do look out for them in the following posts! I'll try to make it a habit to use a mask once a week~!
My Ratings (using my super awesome strawberry emoticons):
mad loves! YOU HAVE TO GET IT!!
it's pretty good :)
get it if you've got some spare cash.
i'm kinda disappointed...
what on earth was I thinking?! D:
